Planting design for new driveway

Our clients had just had a new driveway installed and asked us for some planting design to enhance it and provide a stylish, low maintenance scheme to replace the existing overgrown shrubs.

We specified a mixed scheme; a re-turfed lawn with soft perennial planting on one side, and a kitchen/herb knot garden, as the client was a keen cook. We also incorporated a seating area, and a new Photinia x frasierii hedge.
