Rural garden

Our latest design to be installed was in a beautiful secluded rural property in Mercaston, Derbyshire.

Rural garden in Mercaston

The original site was mainly lawn on a slope. The client’s brief was to add more colour and interest, and to make better use of the end of the garden at the bottom of the slope, which was damp and dark.

Our solution was to cut the lawn down in size, including large flowerbeds incorporating more colour and lots of evergreen shrubs for year round interest. We enlarged the existing patio area and specified a large deck for the problem end of the garden, incorporating space for a summer house and trampolene (to be installed later).

The client commissioned us to design the garden, and installation was by Robin’s Nest Landscaping of Derby.
